The current post is slightly different and these are my 3 favorite face masks, each for a slightly different purpose.
Note: I am not dermatological expert and that masks are more or less product of testing what works for me and what does not. 🙂 Because people are different, masks will probably work differently for everyone.
Honey and cinnamon mask
The first mask I use in those pimples days… All you need is honey and cinnamon. Combine e.g. 2 teaspoons honey and half a teaspoon of cinnamon, if the mixture is too thick, you can add a few drops of water, lemon or floral water.
Live on the face for 15 min and wash off the mask with water.
Indian healing clay and vinegar
The mask used for a deep cleansing skin, usually twice per week. Mix 2 teaspoons of Indian healing clay and vinegar.
Leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes and wash off the mask with water once it’s dried.
Oatmeal Face Mask
This mask is great to calm the skin and reduce redness. You need only ground oatmeal and water. Mix together two tablespoons of oatmeal and a little water, wait one minute and, if necessary, add water to get a mask.
Leave the mask on for 15 minutes and wash off the mask with water once it’s dried.
In most cases, I use the mask in the evening and after washing my face I use rosewater as a tonic and apply my DIY cream. If I use a mask in the morning, I replace the cream with a few drops of oil (currently organic argan oil).
