I love to read about, find and try new apps, tools to make my blogging process easier, faster and more efficient. I have rounded up the most essential and the best of them all here to save you some time, hope it helps!
Editorial Calendar
I usually plan my blog post for one month ahead. So I can think about content and prepare it in advance. I find this easier and less stressful because I already know what I am going to write about. If I get some other idea r getting inspiration to write something else, I don’t hesitate and write this new content intent.
For planning my content I use an offline and online system. First I print out my blog post calendar (you can get it here) and fill it with my blog post for next month. This calendar is usually always kept on my desk.
After I have plan my blog post on paper I transfer them in Google Calendar for when I am not near my desk and I can look and see which blog post is next.
Google Drive
My favorite text editor to write posts is Google Docs. I can write posts from every computer and on every location. I also save my picture for the post in my google Drive Folder.
MeisterTask
MeisterTask is a great tool to keep my blog post ideas in one place. I can add new ideas on the go, simply on my phone or send an email with the idea to my MaisterTask. I can also create a checklist and add text to write a little bit more about my idea.
Photo Editor
I edit photos and create graphics with Photoshop and Illustrator. Because I use it also in my business it is easier and faster to work with them. If you would like simpler and easier editor I suggest Free online Image Editor PicMonkey.
Schedule posts on social media
Lately, I prefer to share my post “in real time”. But I like to schedule my Instagram posts. To schedule posts on my Instagram, I use Later that remind me to post my already prepared Instagram posts on specific time. If you would like to schedule your post, you can also use Buffer and IFTTT.
Mailchimp
Mailchimp is the world’s leading email marketing platform. I use it to send emails to all my subscribers after I publish my new post or I have something important to share.

Google Analytics is a great tool to track analytics on your blog like how much new visitors you have in a month, which post are the most popular…
Google Search Console
If you don’t already use it I suggest to check out this tool to help you optimize visibility on the internet. It gives you a lot of information about how people find you, about the google search queries, the number of clicks to your site, a number of inbound links, broken links and many other details which help you manage your site better.
